It is said the best relationships are when a couple can talk like best friends, play like children, and protect each other like brother and sister. But what happens when it all falls down and your partner is in possession of nude pictures of you?
Law student Pulane Lenkoe - the girlfriend of Orlando Pirates midfielder Thandani Ntshumayelo - learnt this the hard way when an ex-boyfriend posted pictures of her nude online.
A photo search of "Pulane" on Twitter will tell you exactly why the 31-year-old has garnered more than 11000 new followers, in just over 72 hours, since the picture was leaked.
Even rapper Cassper Nyovest and DJ Sbu are fans. DJ Black Coffee was apparently forced to unfollow her once a Twitter user alerted his pregnant wife, Rockville actress Mbali Mlotshwa, of his virtual dalliances.
Lenkoe said yesterday: "I'm literally shaking right now.
"I don't want to deal with this. I just want it to go away. I wish I could just wake up and somebody tells me it's just a dream.
"I don't want all of this attention. Good Friday [is approaching], my goodness. I'm going to church. I don't want people looking at me like I'm some whore."
Lenkoe said Ntshumayelo advised her to "let it go" - but what options besides this are open to her and others?
Social media law expert Emma Sadleir said Lenkoe could sue her ex for infringement of privacy, lay a charge of crimen injuria, or even get a protection order under the Protection from Harassment Act.
