Born in Mdantsane, East London and raised in a very spiritual family, where both parents were church leaders.

2009 – 2010: I started working with Luckeez Mfowethu as a contributor on Jaivah Mzantsi, and an assistant Technical Producer to Luckeez on a radio informacial for Saatchi And Saatchi aired on Umhlobo Wenene FM, hosted by Blaq Maci

2011 – 2018: When Mdantsane FM (Community Radio) was launched, i joined the station as a volunteer for 7 years, hosting different shows, from Breakfast Show, weekend Party Show, Reggae Show to a Hip Hop Show that managed to grab attention throughout the Province and introduced a number of young Hip Hop artists that are currently doing well in representing Eastern Cape nationwide, some even went far as, one of the artists write a song titled “Dear Slujah” acknowledging the contribution I have made into their lives.

2014: Radio Drama Actor for Umhlobo Wenene FM’s Soapie “Ithini Na Lento? Leyo Yimfihlelo Yobomi” as Zgweqe and in 2018 I was given another character as Nceba

2015: Within 7 months of hosting and producing the Breakfast Show on Mdantsane FM, it managed to get voted the Best Community Radio Show at the Beat Magazine Awards 2015.

2016: I entered TruFM’s Tru Talent Search Competition in Radio Presenting category, in which i got through to the finals and ended up on second place.

2018: Founder/CEO for Mathanda Enterprises, through the company, Music & Comedy Nights – The Vibe, a platform for upcoming Comedians and Artists to showcase their talent but most importantly to make a living through their work, was born.

2018: I joined Umhlobo Wenene FM (SABC) as an On-Air Presenter and Content Producer for Jaivah Mzantsi, a weekend music program, Fridays and Saturdays from 22:00 – 01:00

2020: I joined Tru FM (SABC) as an Afternoon Drive Show host for Drive326EC, every weekdays between 15:00 – 18:00

2022: Currently I host Lunchtime Shandis, a young vibrant show that inspires, entertain and motivate the youth, every weekdays between 12:00 – 15:00 on Tru FM (SABC)

As a Broadcaster, Producer, Composer, Artist, Actor and Event organizer, i have proven and made my intentions clear, to be the best and keep inspiring the youth in rural and township areas across South Africa
