What Womens Day Means To Me!
A cupla years ago if I were to be asked what women’s day means to me, Lilian Ngoyi, Helen Joseph, Florence Matomela and all the other women that marched to the union buildings against pass laws would come to mind. Today women’s day means we need to commemorate those women because women’s day now means liberation, endless opportunity and emancipation. It means Economic, Political and social achievements.
Gone are the days when a woman’s role was to be pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen. A woman’s place is in the boardroom, in the podium in the world stage and anywhere she want to be. The world is her oyster. My goal is make Bill Gates eat my dust and I suggest you start working towards your goal. Go out there and make the women who fought for your freedom proud. Happy women’s day.
