Sukazi confirms Khenyeza to Arrows

Mabhuti Khenyeza has rejoined Golden Arrows after having a conversation with his former boss Tim Sukazi.

Source revealed on Monday that Khenyeza had left Galaxy to join Mandla Ncikazi as his new assistant coach after Steve Komphela left to join Mamelodi Sundowns.

The former Maritzburg United and AmaZulu FC assistant coach was given the task to head up The Rockets' MultiChoice Diski Challenge side following the return of Dan Malesela.

But according to Sukazi, they had to look at the bigger picture and allow Khenyeza to leave and grow at Arrows.

"An opportunity emerged for Coach Mabhuti and when him and I looked at it, we thought as opposed to waiting for the MDC to start, he would be better off to take an opportunity of going to assist at Golden Arrows," Sukazi explained to his side's media team.

"It's a PSL club after all. So unless the MDC was active, it wouldn't have been a problem, but we don't even know the exact dates as to when the MDC will start.

"So when we looked at it we thought rather he be involved at the highest level. The Arrows opportunity, we thought it's the best under the circumstances"
