Movie Review: Intonga
Intonga is an isiXhosa word for combat involving
sticks and when done to perfection it can be a fun exercise to watch.
Well, not in this movie. It may be called
Intonga, but it is not about stick-fighting, but boxing.
The stick-fighting scenes constitute about 5
percent of the entire movie and the rest is about boxing and a little bit of teenage
romance.
The story is about young stick-fighting Siviwe
(Ntantiso), who has to deal with relocating from rural Fort Beaufort
Apart from having to deal with losing his father,
Siviwe has to avoid the resident bully and boxing champ, Knuckles (Mkile),who is always looking for a reason to fight?.
Intonga is an Eastern Cape

ya the way i have heard about it,it is going to rock lets all as south africans suport it.
