Cd Review: Promise To The Province
03 October Eastern Cape Hiphop was put at a stand still for veterans, Iintloko Zeenyoka, to be heard.
Promise To The Province was the revelation to be revealed. The album boast 16 songs all locally recorded and produced.
It touches all scopes of Eastern Cape culture which makes it an album for the locals... oh well, it's 99% venacular.
Criticism? Some track still falter in terms of quality but the musical content makes up for that.
My favourite track has to be the dedication to bra Steve Biko, "NjengoBiko" featuring our own Phethu Soga.
