2010 plans looking good...

We thought it was necessary to update you once again on the 2010 'crisis or lack there-of, truth is there never was anything to worry about, except maybe the Eskom issue but that's a story for another day.

2010 is around the corner and the Local Organising Committee has assured MPs that the constructions being done on the chosen 2010 World Club stadiums is well under way.

Upon briefing the Sports and Recreation National Assembly Committee, LOC technical head Moira Tlagale said that work done on 4 of the 10 stadiums currently being built should be completed in December, well ahead of the African Confederations Cup in 2009.

He cited that the only stadium to be given a 3 month leeway ...

Ronaldinho, Kaka for Chelsea?

Blues new manger, Luiz 'Big Phil' Scolari, and his overly popular bank balance has the rumour mill in overdrive.

No-so-reliable sources (rumours) say Kaka, Deco as well as Ronaldinho are potential players to pack their bags and call Stamford Bridge home.

This may leave one wondering where Chelsea's current world-class midfield players fit in, with players such as Michael Ballack, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole & Micheal Essien already on the Blues payroll.

Chelsea splash the cash

It's official, new soon-to-be Chelsea manager, Luiz Felipe Scolari, is rumoured to have a transfer bank balance of about £100m solely for the purpose of obtaining world-class players to the UEFA Champions League runners-up.

The current Portugal coach shall play a pivotal role in luring talents such as Deco of Barcelona to the club & may succeed in convincing Ricardo Carvalho to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Being Brazilian, this could also give Roman Abramovich's side an opportunity of getting their hands on world-class AC Milan midfielder, Kaka.
