Prime Circle's Euro Tour Hots Up

3 Doors Down

The South African Prime Circle, recent winners of the SAMA Best Rock Album have amassed yet another honour –they will be sharing the stage with Billboard chart topping act, 3 Doors Down as part of their European tour. 

The band is currently on tour in Europe where their enigmatic stage performances led to them being invited to perform with the American rock band. Prime Circle will be carrying the flag for South African rock bands and performing with the US rockers in Berlin, Hamburg and Stuttgart on the 7th, 8th and 10th of June.

The 36 year old William Adams AKA will.i.am thinks he would have been a "notorious gang member" if he wasn't in Black Eyed Peas The Black Eyed Peas star believes he was "saved" from a life of crime by his teenage friendship with band mate Apl.de.ap and thinks their passion for music has helped preserve their bond over the years.

Lil Kim Arrives In South Africa

The US rapper Lil Kim arrived in South Africa last week.The rapper will be joined by Timbaland, Ciara, Phat Joe, and DJ Scratch at the Zar Fest - a three-city festival organised by flamboyant businessman, Kenny Kunene. 

Speaking at a press conference in Johannesburg, the world-renowned wordsmith, promised South Africans rousing performances. The superstars will perform in Cape Town at the International Convention Centre on June 2 and Joburg’s Coca Cola Dome on June 3 before ending their tour in Durban on June 4 at the Moses Mabhida stadium.

Eve will release her first album in nine years

The American recording artist and actress Eve started working on her comeback, 'Lip Lock', in 2007 and is desperate to get it out as there has been a nine year gap since her last album, "Eve-Olution."

Speaking at the launch party for the Gumball 3000 Rally at the Playboy Club in London, Eve says "I've been finishing my record, which will be out by the end of the year. "There's a lot of good people are on it. Swizz Beatz is on it, he's like my brother. "MSTRKRFT are on it. It's kind of eclectic, not so much dance, but very hip-hop, with big beats. "
