trufm DJs and humanitarians Siphokazi January, Sisonke Kosani and Akhona Xlnt are taking South Africa’s future generation by the hands and raising them to be emotionally, psychologically and physically healthy adults. The three DJs, who host trufm’s Real Deal weekdays at 12h00 to 15h00, Saturday’s Top 30 and After Hours have dedicated their time and their Monday afternoons to a King Williams Town Child Care Centre for vulnerable and homeless children.
Taking time out to read, play and enjoy heart-to-heart chats with the children, the trufm trio are hoping to pass on some important life skills to ensure the kids develop into productive, responsible and independent members of our society.

The night, in partnership with Wow Entertainment, formed part of the trufm 2nd birthday celebrations and showcased comics such as Ronie Modimola, Mthunzi Ntoya, Trevor Gumbi, Simphiwe Shembe, Skhumbuzo Hlophe, Mxolisi Mtshali. Setting up at Alfred Nzo Municipality, one of six Public Viewing Areas in the Eastern Cape, the day was boosted further with another important event – the launch of the Water Conservation and demand management project.

Half a million unsold World Cup tickets will go on sale over the counter from tomorrow as FIFA accedes to South African business methods.
The final phase of sales for the month-long tournament beginning in June will see ticket selling points in shopping malls in the nine host cities plus a network of popular supermarkets.
The Tickets are still available for all 64 matches except for the final at Soccer City in Johannesburg on July 11.
It will be the first time fans can buy tickets over the counter in cash the preferred method of purchasing for South African football fans, many of who are on low incomes.
FIFA said last week 2,2 million tickets have been sold for the tournament.
