Angelina Jolie wants to adopt an Indian child.

The Changeling actress revealed her plans to one of the child stars ofSlumdog Millionaire - which is set in the poorest areas of Mumbai -when she met him at last month's Oscars.

When asked by 10-year-old Azharuddin Mohammed if she would consideradopting a child from his home country of India, Angelina - who is in along-term relationship with Brad Pitt - reportedly replied: 'Well, I'lllet you into a little secret, we will soon.'

Angelina was said to be very taken with Azharuddin and Rubina Ali, 9,when she met them at Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles - whereSlumdog Millionaire picked up eight prizes.

The sentencing judge called it 'experimental.' The U.S. attorney who helped broker the arrangement called it 'unique.' And T.I.himself acknowledged that his plea deal — which reduced a potential10-year prison term into community service and, more than likely, lessthan a year's worth of jail time — was 'an opportunity.'

Orlando Pirates have only one goal left this season and that is the big prize - the Absa Premiership.

The second placed Buccaneers have six matches to dethrone leadersand defending champions SuperSport United to win their first leaguetitle since 2003.

They travel to the Free State capital on Sunday (15:00) where theycome up against relegation haunted Bloemfontein Celtic in a matchdoubling up as the official fixture to re-open the new-look Free StateStadium which was upgraded to be used for the Confederations Cup,starting in June, and next years World Cup finals.

They also plan to avenge their 2-1 loss to Celtic in the second round of the Nedbank Cup in Potchefstroom last weekend.

New EL mall opens

Developers of the new multi- million rand shopping centre in Beacon Bay are confident of success, despite the gloomy economy.

Thiswill be the second shopping centre slated to open in East London thisyear, with Hemingway’s Mall scheduled for the end of the year. Andtoday will mark the first day of trading for some of the shops at thenew mall, called Beacon Bay Crossing.

Whileconstruction is not entirely completed, phases of the mall aregradually being opened and preparations are already in place toconstruct a traffic circle on the busy Bonza Bay Road.

Beacon Bay Crossing, located next to Nompumelelo township, will open seven stores tomorrow.
