The 35 year old British soccer ace David Robert Joseph Beckham- who already has a number of body art pieces including a topless depiction of his wife Victoria and an inscription of her name in Hindi - underwent two sessions over 12 hours to get the image, which includes three cherubs representing his sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight and Cruz, six.

He said "It is Jesus being carried by three cherubs and obviously the cherubs are my boys and so my thought of it is that at some point my boys are going to need to look after me and that's what they're doing in the picture. It means a lot."

David revealed he never plans to get the artwork done however often wakes ...

The Canadian pop superstar Justin Drew Bieber says goodbye to being 16 tomorrow and, despite being one of the world's most famous singers, he insists he just wants to celebrate the day with his mother Pattie and his beloved grandfather and grandmother.

He said “Hopefully my grandparents will be out here and I'll be able to spend time, a little bit, with them. My grandma makes the best cheesecake ' cherry cheesecake. She made that for my 13th birthday."

Bafana Bafana megastar Siphiwe Tshabalala has red-carded a moVenda man who claims to have passed his DNA onto him.

Shabba said “That man is not my father. He is a chancer. I know who my father is, he lives in Protea Glen.” Tshabalala was reacting to struggling scrapyard owner Samson Nangani’s claims that he is the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder’s biological father.

He said “Siphiwe is a Nangani, not a Tshabalala. I’m not saying this because he is successful. I don’t want anything from him. I just wanted to reunite with him.

Life Above All scores 6 awards

The film “Life Above All” won six awards at the SA film and Television Awards at the Madamme Zingara Theatre last night, attended by the heavyweights of the local film and television industry. 

The feature film was nominated in 11 categories and won Best Feature Film, Best Feature Film Actress in which Khomotso Manyaka won, Best Feature Film Supporting Actress which garnered Harriet Manamela an award and Best Feature Film Ensemble.
